We are forgiven. For 1 John 1:9 says, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
We are forgiven. For Psalm 103 [11-12] says, “For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us.”
We are forgiven. For Romans 5:1 says, “Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
We are forgiven. For God assures us in Isaiah 44 [22] “I have blotted out your transgressions like a cloud and your sins like mist; return to me, for I have redeemed you.”
